Failure-to-Rescue Following High-Risk Oncologic Emergencies in the United States
The award recognizes my research on the relationship between hospital oncology capabilities and outcomes following high-risk cancer emergencies. The study examines failure-to-rescue: death after a serious complication, an important measure of how health systems respond when patients deteriorate.
